Mammogram Diagnosis and the Alternatives

There is lots of updated information acknowledging there are much more humane and desirable ways to diagnose breast cancer than the standard allopathic approach to diagnosis. This section explores these proven alternatives to the sometimes dangerous mammogram.

The November 10, 2003 issue of the AMA journal, American Medical News, reports little evidence documenting that mammography saves lives from breast cancer for pre menopausal women, which are many of the women who fall between the ages of 30 and 50. For women between the ages of 40 and 44, breast cancer is the leading cause of death.

Other technologies are proving to be more effective in breast cancer detection, with more information all the time about holistic, alternative and/or other natural methods known to pinpoint breast problems. They do exist, both conventional and holistic / natural. All sides have cases for success.

Breast Cancer Detection Demonstration Project show poor ratings after a 5 year summary report with 283,000 women between the ages of 35 and 74, reporting mammograms were innacurate in 5 out of 6 "positive diagnosis", when followed up by a standard biopsy [human tissue review]. Pressure from the mammogram as well as biopsy samples also could have contributed to metastases of the tumors diagnosed.

A Duke University Medical Center report claims women over 70 are over-screened for both breast and cervical cancers. Estimated cost in the year 2000 for women over the age of 70 for the unnecessary mammogram diagnosis they received was approximately $460 million. The article went on to point out that clinical guidelines for women over the age of 70 are ambiguous and based on almost no clinical research.

Mammography misses most cancerous lumps, and other issues with younger women, especially when there is rapid growth into adult maturity. This is an extremely vulnerable age, as some young ladies are taught not to share "personal things" with others. This can and has led to death, when a carcinogen goes too far. That is why learning to be your own doctor at a young age will only benefit you. It is within your capacity to know your body better than anybody else. Just realize that, then take responsibility for it.

If the tumor was less than 1 centimeter, a mammogram could only pick up "an abnormal growth" 47 percent of the time. It missed them 1 in 3 times if they were 1-2 centimeters in size. It only detected 1 in 5 that were bigger than 2 centimeters. This includes fibroids or cysts, both considered types of tumors. Remember: Tumors or fibroids are not always indicative of a malignancy, or cancerous growth. They are often simply natural ways the body protects itself.

Another research indicated that out of 2000 screened over 10 years, 1 life was saved and 10 were treated unnecessarily.

John Gofman, MD, PhD. [Nuclear Physics] wrote Radiation from Medical Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease. He claims that over 50 percent of death-rates from cancer is induced by x-rays. Put into consideration that the standard four films of each breast per year results in approximately 1000 times greater dosage of radiation absorbed than that from a chest x-ray.

High-dose radiation in the chest actually results in a medium to high risk of developing cancer, according to the American Cancer Society. Reducing exposure to medical radiation from unneeded mammograms would most likely reduce death rates.

Intravenous injections are now given with mammogram diagnosis, so they will show up under ultraviolet, and the invasive shot can later lead to other side effects... yet it does not seem to work any better than a standard mammogram. All this adds up to an average American adult involved in SAD [Standard American Diet] ways, that needs help, and just laid their body 'a little closer' with another dose of strong chemicals on top of the "exam" itself... An MRI also involves an injection with dangerous chemicals.

EDITOR'S NOTE: I personally do not know what they are talking about when saying "holistic and natural practitioners" are not qualified. My reply: "By whose standards, when compared to the number of women that might have gone ahead with the 'conventional treatment', not knowing the difference. As an honorary teacher / specialist at touch therapy, nutrition, and related subjects, yet NOT a full time professional, I can do better than that, keeping it fully "non-invasive", while totally honoring with virtue the center of a woman's most vital part of her being, cherishing how she shares her life with the following generations, or intimate partner, or who ever, that's how! ...and best of all, teach her to "heal thyself".

Mammogram does do not always work - Inflammatory Breast Cancer

Diagnosing tumors and fibroids without a Mammogram

The best way to find a tumor without a mammogram would #1: Learn to know your own body. You can do this yourself when an experienced pro is not available. When your shoulder is hurting you can even squeeze out the stress. You can do the same thing with your breasts, yet be much gentler for better results. They are living, breathing organs / organisms, as their function interweaves with the rest of your body. Learn good and well what they are made of before jumping in there and giving them a slam! These vital body parts are carried with you since birth. Treat them with the same respect you would treat your Mother's, and her Mother.

Ask them. Your breasts will tell you what is going on, when you are willing to listen to your body. To make sure metastases is not severe, answer these questions: Is there an enlarged sore that is not healing? Did you forget to get salve, or some way clear pathogens or toxins from an area? Is there pain? Is it pinpointed to a specific location, or is the hurt going out in other directions...? At this point, make sure you understand why the condition exists before deciding your full diagnosis.

EDDITOR'S NOTE: Just realize the previous report by the National Cancer Institue posted comments by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of NYC that make a fortune from very dangerous radiation treatments, and they still suggest mammograms, also known to cause cancer at times from excessive radiation. Live with and heal your own breasts

A woman can easily diagnose her own breasts better than anyone else ever could. You can easily tell when lumps start forming, yet because a woman lives with herself for so long, some times she might not be aware, or overlooks what is really going on with lumps and fibroids, simply because they do not bother her. This is a general truth.

When a person learns how to properly share healing touch with another, sometimes that other experienced professional can point out things you never knew about yourself, like finding a "small fibroid", or some other condition, that all the electronic equipment in the world could not detect, simply because technology has never been taught to "feel".

One of the greatest healing techniques involves gentle touch, allowing the heat of the "energy exchange", our natural body chemistry / electricity / synchronicity working with the nervous, spiritual and circulatory system to flow through the contact point. Then one can gently, through radionics [mental / spiritual radiation] permeate the area while visualizing restructure back to its original intent, before the "foreign culture / enzyme / pathogen / corrosive" invaded. There are no guarantees with this modality known as basic "channeling of healing light". I have seen it work, and be very efficient at times. Learn it. It will serve you.

Most breast tumors, fibroids, small cysts or sores are simply there for a person's protection. Protect them with your life, because they are part of you, until cut out or naturally removed.

What are you supposed to do? Keep the faith. You can recover from anything, yet it might take changes, especially about the way you see yourself or the World.

Recent research indicates that high level of stress can lead to agressive breast cancer. This is where a good plan for meditation and/or other ways to reduce anxiety / anger can work well at times.

Will they shrink and disappear when you eat correctly? Only you can answer that. It takes more than diet to accomplish this. It takes correct thinking.

What is the reason they are here? Once again answering this is complex, as every person has a different set of circumstances. Looking at past actions objectively with a basic understanding of mental, physical, and nutritional basics will help answer this.

Sometimes these "issues/lumps" can be cleared quite easily, when we realize the numerous ways each relate to our daily routines. Adjusting what it is that will reverse the "unfavorable situation" sometimes requires "maneuvering" when others realize this is for real, and you are disciplining your decisions.

Keep the faith. You are still alive. You can read these words! Yay! You are a survivor! Yay! You are one of us!

Vegan Diet Reduces Breast Cancer Risk / Cancer project / 05/05/2011 / foodconsumer / Recent studies suggest a plant-based diet can do just that. Diets high in a variety of fruits and vegetables can significantly reduce breast cancer development in women with BRCA mutations. Breast Lumps - when do they need removed?

Whether a woman has children or not means little here, yet there is something very natural about a woman fulfilling a genetic, built-in mechanism that shares life with a her offspring. When this is shut down, possibly from not going "full term", sometimes "inert materials" are left behind that can be diagnosed as lumps or fibroids.

I once helped a woman that had severe lumps from a man grabbing her breasts so hard she could not scream - and it left behind scar tissue. This still bothered her 10 years + after the fact. It was not a "metastasized cancer", yet could become one without clearing and "letting go", probably one of the most important things we can do, when associated with "past karma".

It is beyond coincidental how sometimes "lumps or bruises" happen to us, whether we are physically abused or not. Sometimes we fall down. Many are in accidents. Others are knocked senseless and come back. Some women are inadvertently "squeezed in the chest" so hard that they hurt for a week!

Many are unfortunate, thinking for some reason the "right men" will love them more if they get implants. This often does encourage certain types of men to like them, but... Many fall victim to a "standardized look", often misleading women into thinking they are "inadequate" unless they have more cleavage.

When diagnosed with benign breast lumps, some women think they should go through surgery and/or chemotherapy to get rid of them. Many times this ends up being one inert substance being replaced with another, yet the silicone or other substance used for implants is generally softer when fresh. Either way, they can eventually leak, leading to other severe problems. My opinion - A woman is probably better off with what her body put there to protect herself, and leave well enough alone, unless they have metastasized.

A diagnosis like "breast cancer" could begin with "legal injection" while cutting, leading to a "lethal injection" if one is not careful. A waiver before they start their procedure takes away most rights you have to your life, including property, so be careful. This is often your only recourse, unless you carry a hefty insurance plan, or it's backed up by government funding, and filing for bankruptcy or worse, when you have no insurance of government benefits. Then what would you do?

Implants and healing issues

Breasts going through plastic surgery often end up as part silicone or other foreign substance, and part real. A true gentleman often knows or feels the difference and would not hold it against a woman regardless. In many cases a man will respect a woman more for being "natural". A caring man will also respect a woman that is suffering from breast cancer or subjected to implants and treat her respectfully under any conditions.

Sometimes women that feel rejected or abused by men turn to their feminine sisters so they can live with themselves. If they can handle permanent scars both from the experience and the result, well, some women have gained financially through plastic surgery, while others have simply lost a vital part of their womanhood to permanent scars.

A woman with implants once told me the doctor doing the augmentation stated she would never have to worry about breast cancer after going through this plastic surgery called "breast augmentation". She was in such severe pain years later, all the time, throughout both breasts, that is / was simply unbearable for her often.

I could legally not tell this woman what to do, or not to do. My compassion and heart goes out to women that made what some consider a mistake like this, by trusting the wrong person at the wrong time. Yet let's be real. It will take more than a miracle to reverse the effects of breast augmentation. An accurate prognosis will probably not be possible until the "foreign substances" are gone, as they can leak. I know a woman / friend that went through the "removal surgery", and though missing her added cleavage, feels much better as a result.

Though I am not a trained / certified diagnostician, I could certainly be witness that 'in my opinion' there are permanent circulatory damages to a woman's breasts as the result of breast augmentation. Even removing these "monstrosities" would most likely lead to more severe issues, yet what is one to do? After breast cancer surgeries women often do not feel right or whole without cleavage, so what is the best scenario? Compassion, regardless. Before consenting to augmentation, it is best to get more than one opinion and simply be willing to live with your decision.

Prevention is the Key

The best cure is almost always prevention. Know the facts. There are those among us that realize "cut, slash and burn" mentality of your standard AMA approved allopathic practitioner, known as an MD, will most likely lead to a diagnosis and treatment they are taught to proceed with. This is often very different than your educated Holistic or Natural practitioners that would most likely suggest for saving our body parts.

Great Sage advice - You can preserve body parts with natural, organic foods instead of chemicals and caked grease. All that crud and poison chemicals will need to get flushed out if you want to get well. The best remedy is prevention. If you did not start to clean up with an all-green lifestyle yesterday, get started now. Staying alive is much more pleasant when you are not suffering, and others will love you even more for recovering. We love you. Get well. Go through it.

Realize that most animal products raised on factory farms are contaminated and can exacerbate tumors, fibroids and cysts associated with Breast and other cancers. Saturated animal fats are a major contributor here, as hot or warm grease can pass right through lining of stomach causing restricted essential nutrient absorption in the body, leading to metastasis, sores, and abnormal growths when nutrient is not able to reach all parts of the body. A pure, mostly organic diet emphasizing raw and/or unprocessed fresh foods can both be tasty and life saving when approached correctly. There are numerous great resources out there to help with this.

Use extreme discretion before consenting to use of drugs, either prescribed or illegal, as their side effects often outweigh the benefits. Realize that numerous pharmaceutical pain killers restrict blood flow, and can actually result in more problems than solutions.

Understand what it is that has caused "abnormal breast growths or sores". Really research and review the symptomatic condition before consenting to any severe, invasive, or in other ways unhealthy means to treat oneself. Achieve a viable diagnosis, while getting a clearer understanding of how all parts of our being - body, mind, and spirit - figure when attempting to conclude what is really going on.

The following links to articles actually help scientifically verify the connection eating correctly and prevention. Although certain food groups can greatly help, always remember that effects are marginalized if one continues to eat foods, take dangerous drugs, and drinks sugared or acoholic beverages in excess.

Breast Cancer Discussion with Dr. Francisco Contreras Part 2

Tumors and Turmeric

Tumors do serve a function, and do it well - up to a point. They hold toxins that liver, kidneys, and intestines have not been able to adequately flush out of the system. These can often reduce in time, if or when a person is willing to discipline themselves by living on the fresh raw green and fruit juices, while consuming all the great varieties of organic non-animal sources of unprocessed and nutrient rich foods.

When tumors or fibroids are so enlarged that they might burst, then becoming "cancerous" [metastases], turmeric might just be the solution to help reinforce skin or protective encapsulation [tumor skin] to keep us from severe toxicity, commonly diagnosed as cancer. This does not get rid of the problem, as the body still needs to naturally clear these build-ups of crud to be totally healed.

Speaking of tumor and tubers: sometimes turmeric, another great root, though much stronger than carrots, is one of the best things we can share with our systems to restore tissue and body function.

In separate studies, scientists at Harvard and New York`s Albert Einstein College of Medicine confirm the value of carotenoid-rich diets even for women with deadly invasive breast cancer. Carrots, another very healthy food [especially organic grown] are the most well known food source with carotene, great for skin and eyes.

Turmeric has long been used in Ayurvedic healing from India, and is a standard ingredient in most curry powders. It is also what makes commercially sold "mustard" a bright yellow. It is very medicinal, and very important for healing numerous ailments.

"Tubers" serve a different function in the earth, yet sometimes share with us nutrient helping with tumors. Tumors store crud our bodies are not able to flush out, growing similar to "tubers in the ground". Discretion needs to be addressed, unless tumors have swollen beyond control. For severe symptoms, properly licensed acupuncturists have reversed tumors like this, yet not always. Fresh juice or water fasts can and have reduced these abnormal growths without the harmful drugs or chemicals. Occasionally, when tumors get so large, and the patient has not healed these through the natural foods / juice regimen, surgical removal is a last, yet some times life-saving [preferably last] recourse.

"Severe" means your breasts hurt so bad you know something is - well, be patient, and it might be PMS, yet seriously, do you have an extra small bottle of oregano oil, now available in veggie caps, a great honored natural anti-biotic, and even proven to reverse severe necrosis issues... ??? It could save your life when the pain indicates a bacterial infection. PMS sometimes indicates the body has reached a saturation point of toxicity, leading to menstruation, that naturally helps women clean out the crud. As a "food grade oil" oregano oil is totally legal, yet too strong for general every day use, so be careful, as one should be with all herbal or chemical medications.

When a victim might be hemorrhaging, suffering from severe gastroenteritis, ulcers, or other situations where attacking pathogens have eaten through tissue, probably the best thing you can do is consume some turmeric, fresh or powdered, with freshest aloe vera available, green juices, and a little olive oil... and if that does not work, call immediately for professional assistance. When you are vomiting or passing blood [not through menstrual flow] and nothing else works, the local fire departments have experienced paramedics, and will guide you through it. It is better not to wait if one is suffering from severe food poisoning or other corrosives.

One time while working with a power tool, I severely gashed my finger. A visiting East Indian Lady, trained in Brahmin ways from that culture, told me to sprinkle turmeric powder on the cut, and it quit bleeding very quickly, totally healed within days, without needing stitches or professional medical assistance. I have now witnessed first hand how turmeric can quickly stop skin bleeding, and also successfully seen it work to heal intestinal ulcers.

Sometimes a poultice made from a mixture of aloe vera, turmeric, and raw coconut oil is all that is needed to reverse dangerous sores, or metastases, of course supplemented with fresh vegan / raw juices and / or foods.

Chemotherapy and/or Radiation

Poisoning the body with dangerous chemicals that makes people sick, then hoping they survive? Chemotherapy is often unnecessary and uncalled for while healing a vital center of a woman's anatomy, her breasts. Here we will explore causes and effects of this very unhealthy treatment, then we will look at the more natural approaches to reversing breast cancer.

After intensive, painful and nauseous chemotherapy patients are often prescribed to have radiation therapy. Common side effects are skin inflammation, dryness, blisters, fatigue, increased cancer risk in other areas, weakness and exhaustion. What most conventional practitioners fail to mention is radiation can also lead to premature death as well as severe trauma. Radiation kills both good and bad cells. According to the American Cancer Society, radiation therapy to one area of the body can increase the cancer risk to areas of the body that are in the line of the radiation beam.

Survivors of these "conventional treatments" are sometimes lauded for the courage it has taken to still be alive. Yet a bigger question: How much longer and satisfying, without the severe pain and suffering, might their lives have been without these invasive procedures?

“Most cancer patients in this country die of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy does not eliminate breast, colon, or lung cancers. This fact has been documented for over a decade, yet doctors still use chemotherapy for these tumors,” Allen Levin, MD UCSF - "The Healing of Cancer".

" a chemist trained to interpret data, it is incomprehensible to me that physicians can ignore the clear evidence that chemotherapy does much, much more harm than good." Alan C Nixon, PhD, former president of the American Chemical Society

Utilizing a scalpel to cut out the "symptom", often just a fibroid, cyst, or tumor, is quite invasive. It often leads to a lifetime of pain and suffering. Many times a mastectomy [removal of breast tissue] can be avoided with more favorable results if the breast cancer patient simply follows a basic necessary nutritional therapy. Good dietary habits often reverse these breast lumps without cutting them out.

Some of the latest research has indicated removing dangerous lymph nodes and/or post-menopausal hormone replacement therapy has not been very effective either.

After being diagnosed with cancer of any kind, it is really up to the patient in deciding what to do. Many factors come into the play, and neither natural or conventional treatments always work. There are many opinions, yet personal intuition with prior research is often the best scenario.

There are times when conventional surgery and/or drugs have saved people. Sometimes tumors and/or other abnormal growths can be life threatening, and there is no viable alternative. Yet one is always taking a big risk when cutting into the body.

With a positive diagnosis of cancer, AMA mandate often calls for surgery, followed by the other poison therapies. On top of the life threatening illness, the dangerous "cocktail" treatments often contribute to one's death. When cancers are left untreated for too long, this might be the only recourse, yet once one has gone that direction, there is often no turning back. Good plastic surgeons can hide "surface scars", yet long term effects from cuts often go deep below the surface.

Use discretion before using any "invasive" treatment, and make sure more than one health professional, preferably both conventional and/or holistic / natural have given you their experienced opinions. This is a decision that will affect you the rest of your life, as well as those of close loved ones.

Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D. - "Conventional cancer therapy is so toxic and dehumanizing that I fear it far more than I fear death from cancer. We know that conventional therapy doesn't work--if it did, you would not fear cancer any more than you fear pneumonia. It is the utter lack of certainty as to the outcome of conventional treatment that virtually screams for more freedom of choice in the area of cancer therapy. Yet most alternative therapies regardless of potential or proven benefit, are outlawed, which forces patients to submit to the failures that we know don't work, because there's no other choice."

Holistic Treatments

Many qualified Holistic health practitioners have assisted in the reversal of numerous breast cancers without the use of pharmaceutical drugs, chemotherapy and surgery. Use discretion here, and make sure you consult with qualified health professionals known to assist in safe and accurate ways. Trust with this is gained through experience, so make sure this person is valid.

There are numerous organizations that have assisted victims in recovering from breast cancer diagnosis without the invasive drugs, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Among them are the Optimum Health Institute, Ann Wigmore Foundation, and The Gerson Institute. These organizations simply use fresh, raw, and mostly organic foods for their clients that visit to rejuvenate their bodies without the "harmful chemical, cut and burn" treatments. They have numerous testimonials regarding "miraculous turn-arounds" for some that were previously diagnosed with terminal cancers.

As breasts are a very sensitive and vital part of a woman's being, a qualified practitioner should be able to tell you lots of essential information without being invasive or causing harm or pain. Trust is a key issue here, when one really wishes to recover naturally. As no two women are alike, utilizing the holistic approach will help you understand how all parts of the body are connected. For a truly accurate diagnosis one will have to acknowledge the entire human system.

Conventional Approach

After decades of independent research in the Holistic, Nutritional and Natural approach to Health and Healing, I can simply comment on Conventional Medicine. This is something I do not specialize in, so I have to rely on others with more experience to comment.

Dr. Stefan Glück, medical oncologist with Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has written an insightful article about their latest research and treatments: "Breast cancer: The latest in research". Dr. Glück's background is approaching breast cancer utilizing chemical reactions to treat disease. A follow-up review article he is writing will be titled "Is this the beginning of the end of chemotherapy?''.

When all else fails Conventional Medicine has both saved many lives and contributed to some deaths, as no one remedy works in all cases. Clear diagnosis, in my opinion, would include the symptom as well as cause of the symptom, something addressed in the Holistic approach. Chemicals can sometimes reverse symptoms, yet has that fully eliminated the illness?

All individual bodies are completely different, and no two people always react the same way. Simply look at all the facts available when needing help. Blessings Always...
